On March 25 the Executive Pastor of Family Ministries, Joshua Straub, recast the vision of Student Ministries for Woodland Hills Family Church.
“We are not changing how we do ministry at Woodland Hills, we are just taking what we do to another level,” Pastor Josh said in his message. Following the Orange philosophy, Woodland Hills is a “family church,” where the church (yellow) and family (red) work together to influence students for the cause of Jesus Christ.
Here are a few brief highlights of the upcoming changes in Student Ministries at Woodland Hills Family Church:
–Roots, the jr. high ministry will continue having a weekly service at 9am in the Student Life Center
–Organic, (www.woodhillsorganic.org) will be the new sr. high ministry at Woodland Hills. A service and brand new sr. high life groups will officially launch this coming fall, 2012. Specific times are yet to be determined.
–Summer events are currently being planned for jr. high and sr. high students and parents to continue momentum into the fall.
–Parent life groups will also be launched for sr. high parents in conjunction with the sr. high service.
–Current life groups will continue on Wednesday nights at 6:00pm throughout the summer months.
